Octavo. An impressive sample book featuring lithograph designs for commercial box covers. All showcase an impressive color palette and most an eye for portraiture, with the majority of the samples showcasing the faces of women laid over patterned backgrounds. Other designs offer floral or holiday concepts, and a small selection serve as mockups for boxes of chocolate-covered cherries. At the recto of each sample is the design's number and the availability of its sizes. A price list prefaces the catalogue. Saddle-stitched wrappers fairly soiled, but interior remains bright and edges are minimally rubbed. Near fine. Just one copy listed in OCLC.
