This copy exquisitely bound by The Chelsea Bindery in full morocco of red and purple, in the spirit of the original boards. Front cover titling is in gilt as is Rowling's signature, these framing a panel of onlaid leathers enhanced with watercolor depicting Harry and the Hogwarts Express. At the rear cover, the same technique shows Dumbledore, again in reference to the original illustrated boards. Spine in six compartments with further gilt titling and ornamentation. Interiors of boards nicely finished with gilt and bindery stamp to foot of the inner front board. Silver silk doublures and all edges glittering with stars, to complete the production. A delightful copy, in due service to one of the pillars of young adult literature.
