Follow-up to Psychoanalysis and the Unconscious, this was the book that was partially responsible for rekindling the friendship between Lawrence and John Middleton Murry. The American edition of this work contains an Epilogue that was omitted from the English edition, which this edition precedes. Spine gilt dulled, as is common, toned at head and tail of spine, stain to lower rear endpaper and paste-down, also affecting rear panel and flap of dust jacket. Overall, a very good copy in the scarce dust jacket, which is a bit chipped and soiled, with fading to spine.
