Small quarto. (46)pp. With images printed from her original paintings and then hand-altered with gouache, pen and ink, rubber stamping, and collage, Sherry creates an episodic narrative of womanhood. The illustrations and stories take on an alchemical valence, and the author herself seems to slip away from the scene as soon as the reader comes close to understanding her. A typographic mythology of feminism, as universal in scope as it is personal in composition. Letterpress printed by Philip Gallo at the Hermetic Press, with binding designed and executed by Daniel Kelm at the Wide Awake Garage. Very fine in tan linen over boards with open spine. Housed in lavender raw silk folding case.
